Hi, We need to divide up into about six groups (plus or minus) of about five (plus or minus) students each!
Please comment on this blog post about the types of group topics you would like to explore this semester…
It will be best if you suggest fairly broad topics (e.g. libraries, travel, weather, gaming, etc.).
My hope is that every student will find a group that appeals to them, focus on their own interests (within the group’s topic), and evaluate an interesting website for usability.
We will finalize our groups during class on Thursday, September 8, so be sure your ideas are posted here well before then!!!
Best, –Dr. M.
Where is the best place to cruise on a limited budget?
Gaming is definitely something I’d love to explore in this class.
Virtual museum visits are popular now. But I really like visiting museums in person. I am curious about what are the best museums to visit in the world.
This sounds like an interesting topic
Online Shopping or E-Commerce as a topic.
Examples include Amazon, Ebay, Google Shopping, Shopify, Magento, and others.
I think it’d be pretty cool to discuss digital libraries!
Digital libraries also interests me
Yeah, I think looking into digital libraries would be interesting.
I am also open to something cruise-related(?) and social media!
Websites or apps to identify wildlife
I forgot to mention this in my original comment but I am also up for wildlife-related ideas!
Travel or social media!

I am most interested in education, but I also have a lot of interest in museums and libraries as well! Anything reading/book-related is up my alley, really.
I also came here with the intention of posting about book-related topics!
My interest is in Healthcare!
travel/social media
Hello everyone! I think I would enjoy looking into things related to archives or travel or gaming. I enjoy learning about new things so am open to whatever 🙂
Of the topics that I’ve already seen mentioned, I would be interested in travel and museums (traveling to museums?!).
I don’t think I saw anything about crafting/art-related hobbies yet, but that would be fun as well if anyone else is interested.
I would love a crafting or art related topic
Hi everyone,
I am interested in travel / real estate / healthcare / financial technology as topics.
I would like to look into digital libraries or book/reading related topics. I also would be interested in archives or museums.
Banking web apps/online banking and streaming service UIs are heavily used, yet relatively hard to use. It would be interesting to see how these popular, but overlooked subjects can be better. Another interesting subject could be online investment brokers like Robinhood or Fidelity.
