Hi Grace, I really enjoyed your video! I liked the contrast between the corporate and black and white “day job” photos and color photos of children doing various other jobs, like dancing, playing music, etc. The entrance of the rock-ballad style music after the “static” really added to the emotions of the video and I thought the message of following your dreams came through clearly.
The pacing of the photos remained pretty steady throughout the video, but I thought it was still effective given that the music and colors change enough to bring contrast in a different way. Your use of text within the graffiti images was really impactful; I thought it was very effective and suited the vibe of the prior images.
Hi Grace, something about your video screams nostalgia in a good way. The music, the cuts, and the sudden change in music all come together cohesively. The pacing was a bit stagnant, but I believe it still delivered the right message after all. Well done!
Hi Grace! I loved this! I work as a children’s librarian and really admire how much kids enjoy life, we should all strive to be like them in that way. The use of the static audio/image to break up and contrast the two parts of the video really reminded me of a music video! Even with very little spoken word and very little text, the message of your video is clearly conveyed. Bonus points for a cute credits image!
