Hey Kyle,
I really like the image you chose for your text. It encapsulates the essence of equality before the law and the visual of the balanced scale. You successfully used the rule of thirds to increase focus on the subject of the image. The use of red in the font really draws the audience’s attention to the words against a black and white image. Also, I thought it was really clever to angle the text to follow the arrangement of the scales. Overall, you successfully combined your text and imagery in a meaningful and effective way!
Hi Kyle,
I really love the image that you have chosen for your Human Rights Article. The black and white really provides a stark message when paired with the article. I think that the typefaces that you used go very well with the message that you are trying to convey. They typefaces are very official looking, like something that may be printed on a government document and I think that fits the theme very well. My only feedback regarding the fonts it that they may look too similar. I think that if you would have chosen two fonts that were slightly more different, the post may have been more appealing to the eye. Also, since the image is black and white, it may have been more impactful and easier to read if you choose a different color for both sets of text.
