I used ClipChamp and PowerPoint to make my video. I exported the PowerPoint slides as a video file (.mp4). I then uploaded it into ClipChamp with my music so I could then mix the two together. This was saved as a .mp4 file as well.

Hi Lora,
Nice work! I really liked the irony of the title “The Good Life”and how it highlights that fame comes with a cost. The video did a great job of showing how celebrities might have success and recognition, but their privacy is basically gone. The constant paparazzi and flashing cameras made it feel overwhelming, which really helped drive the point home. It also showed how celebrities have to constantly maintain an image, adding another layer to the pressure of fame. The pacing was strong, and the edits matched the beat of the song really well, making everything flow smoothly. The song choice was spot on and fit the theme perfectly. Overall, the video was really well put together, with a great balance of visuals, music, and pacing that effectively showed both the appeal and the downsides of fame. The age restriction flag was unexpected since it redirected me to YouTube, but it didn’t take away from the message.
Hi, Lora! I snickered a little at the title after I watched your video because it was indeed ironic. “The Good Life” features the rich life of celebrity comes at a cost. I loved while there were pictures on the ‘red carpet’ and famous sites like the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a lot of the other images featured celebrities being crowded and filmed by fans and photographers. I found the pictures of celebritities photographed from their perspective very memorable because while we at home see these glamourous up-close photos of these events, these are really just another human being at their job. I wouldn’t like to have that many cameras following me around at my job. The song was a great choice and fit the theme of your video. The pacing of the video matched the beats of the music. Overall, this was a job well done!
Hey Lora, I really appreciated your video. It does a great job of highlighting the things (privacy, safety, etc.) that are lost in the life of a celebrity. The way your video contrasts the difference between the idea of a ‘celebrity’ with the less glamorous reality, really made me think about if the life style is even worth the benefits. I liked your choice of song, because it really fit the vibe of your video, however I would have been cool to see more ‘on-beat’ transitions mixed together. Your video was also age restricted which I believe blocked my viewing of the video from within WordPress and prevented the thumbnail from showing up as well. Other than these few suggestions I feel that you did a great job completing the assignment and I really liked the message of your video, thanks.
