I chose to download Davinci Resolve 18 to create the MP4 video to accompany the audio. I also used Canva to create the credits and the animated title screen.

After listening to this song an insane amount of times to think of a topic for my video, I finally landed on how we should put more money into taking care of our home. The song talks about money and how we are responsible for our votes, and it made me think about how we should use our resources to implement policies and practices to ensure our home will still be home to future generations. And when the song mentions 2025, I thought about the future, and how I hope in the future, we will be more serious about making the earth a priority. Enjoy!
“Pressured Americanism” was created by Harry Brake using Imovie, exported at 720p, exported as an MP4 file. Title and credits were created in Imovie. https://youtu.be/32_M_-W03WQ
Using Imovie, I was able to export, I was able to create an edited video to upload to Youtube. The size I downloaded this movie was at 720p (1280×720) to Youtube. I was able to initially take every image I collected and resized the images to better their position for the rule of thirds, the images with a were the resized/edited images, and the images with just numbers beside the title were the originals :
As far as attributes go, below are the attributes:
For this assignment I at first utilized iMovie and then switched to working in DaVinci Resolve. The credits were created in Canva. I think I got really caught up in trying to figure out a definitive direction to take with this video, but I underestimated the process. The photos that I found and thought I wanted to use wound up being all wrong when I started trying to cut them together. Instead of scrambling to find new photos, I wound up working from the photo albums of just a select few creators on Flickr. This at least narrowed the scope for where I was looking for photos. This was my first real foray into editing audio and video together and I think it’s clear that I get more comfortable with it as the video progresses further along.
