My imagined podcast, Quick-Time Event, is a short burst of information on news developments in the gaming industry. It will talk business, new releases and reveals, and also take a quick moment to highlight prominent individuals in the field. Because of this, I used chiptune based music in the background of my voice audio, along with a song dive that will lead to the music, followed by the sound effect “GO” to highlight the action starting.

Your sounds are very reminiscent of my youth! Very old school video game sounds worked perfectly for this podcast. The end was stellar! The beginning sounded a little ‘scratchy.’ Not sure if that was the audio or the volume. But it didn’t last long. Your voice was clear, you had good inflection and you didn’t talk too fast or too slow. Great job!
I really loved the nostalgic, almost 80s arcade aesthetic of this podcast. The chiptune music and Nintendo-inspired vibe immediately set the tone and made it feel authentic to gaming culture. As someone who loves Nintendo, I can definitely see gamers being an enthusiastic audience for this concept. You sounded upbeat and energetic, which fits the fast-paced gaming news format really well. One suggestion would be lowering the music slightly, since at times it competes with your voice and makes parts harder to hear. There were also minor audio quality issues, but overall this felt fun, dynamic, and very on-brand for its target audience.
I really like this theme. It definitely felt nostalgic. Your audio selections matched perfectly, and your voice was clear. I agree that it was a bit scratchy at the beginning. Perhaps it was part of the aesthetic you were going for. The background music was a little bit too loud in comparison with your voice at times. I felt like those sounds were competing a little bit. Overall, it was fast-paced and fun.
