Fireside Fantasies is a cozy fantasy storytime for adults. The theme of this podcast is cozy and relaxing, intended to help the listener wind down for the evening. A weekly program, Fireside Fantasies, will read books from new and established cozy fantasy authors, including unpublished or original works.
The episode begins with low, relaxing guitar music. A few seconds in, you hear the narrator enter the room through a squeaky old door, and then pick up the sound of the fire in the fireplace. As the voiceover begins, you notice both the guitar piece and the fire slightly fade into the background for the introduction and the continuation of the story.

Hi Kristi,
I loved your creative mix of sound! The creaking door and the fire crackling set the mood perfectly. Additionally, the background sound you selected was mixed very well. It wasn’t too loud and it did not overpower your narration. I appreciated how intentional you were regarding the tone used for the narration. Your voice is very soothing and I appreciated the choice to not speak too loud.
Overall, your podcast is very well put together and it sounds professionally done. You’ve got a great voice for storytelling!
