My podcast will be a podcast about what goes on in the public library from patron interactions to job duties to dealing with other outside forces that affect the job. We would gather actual stories from real librarians that could be submitted anonymously and share them on the show. The sound elements used for this piece were the sound of pages being fanned through quickly, a mysterious sounding song, and a voice over done by me.

Hello Savannah!
I must say that your podcast, “Beneath the Stacks”, sounds extremely interesting! It reminds me of the Redditt YouTube videos and podcasts that I have been listening to recently. It would attract an audience such as (surprise) librarians, library patrons, and others who are just curious to see what else occurs in libraries. Little do they know that working in a library is not always as boring as it is portrayed to be.
The sound of your voice on the audio was very mysterious, it drew me in, which made me want to find out more from the librarians who wrote into the podcast. The addition of the pages flipping during the start of the audio clip was also a nice touch. Your podcast poster image of the stacks of library books and ladder provided an air of mystery as well. Fantastic work!

Hi Savannah, I was pleasantly surprised by your audio choices in this podcast piece. Going into it, I was expecting something more akin to a story read-through, befitting the theme of libraries. The music choice creates an inquisitive atmosphere and the page flipping sound effect immerses listeners in your theme. I feel like this podcast would draw adults who frequent libraries, and of course, librarians. I found your podcast title very creative and I enjoyed the podcast thumbnail. Also, your audio quality is by far the best I’ve heard, I’m curious to know what you used to record. Great job!
Hey Savannah,
Great work on this piece, I love the typewriter at the beginning. This podcast would be super fun and would be a great podcast for a lot of newbie librarians! The cadence to your voice adds to the overall feel, which is lot like a conversation to be had inside a library, evoking more of that library podcast feeling.
