Hey Viviana, what a lovely photo! Graduations are such emotional events, and the range of expressions in the photo really complements the themes of freedom and individuality in the article you chose. The differing fonts and colors also contrast nicely. My only suggestion would be to maybe make the color for “Article 18” a little lighter so it stands out more against the background. Otherwise, very nice!
Hey Viviana. I really like that you used a family photo. Using a graduation photo really gets to the heart of the article. The fonts complement each other pretty well without being too similar. My suggestion would be the article number. There isn’t enough contrast between the font and the background. Eyes almost miss it.
I also really love the personal touch with an older graduation photo and I especially love the sepia coloring. I think the photo works great with the article. I did have a little trouble seeing the words of the article at first, so maybe a color that isn’t as close or more opaque would do you better. Overall, I love the look of it.
Hi Viviana,
I really like the photo and idea here. The font is hard to read, even with my glasses; it hurts my eyes. I think moving the wording of the article to layer across the clothes of the subjects would have helped in this regard, you could have made it bigger. Also a color for the title that stood out more or a box behind it.
