Hi Leslie,
Your podcast idea is great, and I would be a member and listen to each episode! I love fantasy books; they are one of my favorite genres! I am in the Middle Ages with your choice of music and the cover image of your podcast. It’s perfectly aligned, and I love how you went about it. The music is a little loud in the beginning but tapers off, which is a nice addition. I think the title of your podcast is so creative, and it would grab the listener’s attention right away. I know it would make me want to check it out! My only suggestion would be to add links to the author’s page for each of your citations. All of your other links work great, and you did a great job!
Hi Leslie,
I really enjoyed listening to The Bookwyrm’s Hoard! The concept of a cozy tavern where fantasy lovers gather for discussions is both creative and inviting. It truly feels like stepping into a magical world, and your introduction sets the scene perfectly.
I was amazed at how well you balanced the different sound elements. During my first listen, I didn’t even realize it was a mix of multiple sounds—that’s how seamlessly they blended together! You did a fantastic job with audio editing. I also appreciated how you adjusted the background music volume, making it louder at the beginning and quieter during your speech. It added to the immersive experience without overpowering your narration.
One small thing I noticed: there isn’t a link to the Boston Public Library in your citation for the picture. Adding that would make the attribution even more complete.
Overall, this is an excellent start to what seems like a fantastic podcast series! I think fantasy enthusiasts will absolutely love it. Great job!
Hi Leslie! I love the idea of your podcast! Your podcast started off a little loud, however your voice was nice and soothing to listen to! This podcast seems very interesting to me, as a big book fan! I know that you could most definitely get a following. The music was very whimsical which added to the picture of your audio clip. The two of them combined nicely to paint a cozy picture. The citations are a little awkward, specifically with the “(Here)” links! Overall, great job!
