Hi Jacob! I love the idea behind this post. The concept of the Article is very nicely illustrated. I think that the first word being white does take away from the concept. The type is incredibly appropriate for the seriousness of the subject. The fonts do compliment each other, without looking too similar.
Hi Jacob, I have to say putting the article on a protest sign is inspired. It’s a good blank space that allows it to be readable and really allows to get the point across of Article 21. The title font of “Article 21” does have the look of someone writing it in marker. It matches well with being on a sign. That said, the actual article details portion doesn’t really match the written on sign feel. The two fonts do conflict a bit because of this. Finding another font that conveys that rough hand drawn look to it really would continue that theme of being written on the sign. That said overall this is a really good job and a really poignant image.
Hi Jacob! I thought that utilizing the protest sign as a blank space was a great way to display the article! I thought the font that you chose for the header was nice because it almost looks handwritten. I did think that the white font blended into the background a little too much, and the red was a bit distracting from the overall message. I am not sure how you would have done this, but it is a bit challenging to read the words that are directly over the stick of the poster. I think that the font enhanced the meaning behind the article here and love the image that you picked! Great work!
