Hi Jaleen,
I like how you used the symbolism of house keys to represent the right to own property. I also appreciate how you chose colors from within the image for your fonts. I feel the transparent rectangle emphasizes the text as equally important to the image and that the two fonts you chose compliment each other well. It look like you aligned the article text with the top of the woman’s fingernail. I feel that this is effective placement as it invites you to see the focal point of the image (keys) in conjunction with the text of the article. Nicely done!
Hey Jaleen,
The symbolism of handing over keys is a powerful representation of property rights, making the connection between ownership and security feel very real. I also appreciate how the design elements work together, the choice of fonts and colors from the image creates a congruent look. The transparent rectangle effectively highlights the importance of the article’s text without overpowering the visual. The alignment of the text guides the viewer’s eye to the focal point, reinforcing the message. I feel that this is a well-thought-out and visually engaging presentation!
Hi Jaleen! I love the color scheme you chose for this image. The color of the text works well with the background without blending in. The fonts you chose pair well and I like the way that the ‘7’ dips a bit in the title, it adds a bit of style. The image you chose conveys the meaning of the article perfectly. I like that you chose an image that does not include their faces, this way focus is not pulled. My only suggestion is too maybe increase the font size on the body text. I found the text a bit hard to read.
