Hi Timothy,
I really like how you went with more of a graphic design approach to your photo instead of using people like the majority of the class did. I understand why you chose that teal-ish color for your font; you wanted the text to stand out, but I am not sure if I like how it clashes with the red chain. But overall, the fonts complement each other well, and you did a good job pairing them.
Hi Timothy,
This was definitely an interesting perspective for the assignment. I love the symbolism of the broken red chain. To me, that speaks volumes about Article 1 – we are all born free, especially historically oppressed groups, and that freedom should come without any agenda or reason. It’s a fundamental right for us to have dignity and equal rights from the time of our birth forward.
I do agree with Jackie, though, and find the color choices to clash a bit. I also thought the font types were a little too similar – I had to look back and forth to make sure I saw the difference. As a final note, make sure you check your spelling on future posts!
Overall, very solid attempt for the assignment! Well done!
Hello Timothy,
I think you did great job on your image and the article attached to it. The broken red chain makes the brain to start think more and dive deep into the details behind the red color and the broken chain. Also, I liked the article font color (green) contrasting with the red color of the broken chain. I’m not sure if we had to put the sentence of Universal Declaration of Human Rights or not, but I like that you put it way down the image, so it does not take any space of the two third rule.
Thank you
