It’s sad seeing these types of photos and how much they had suffer. I remember that protest because I took it in my history class. It all started in May,1963 Regional human rights activists staged walks, occupations, including protest against separation of public spaces, the workplace, as well as the local government, among other areas.
It considers the worse protest because people were killed and violence in Danville.
Hi Annelise, Wow this is very powerful! The photo and text work well together, showing what can happen when Article 9 is not practiced, and I like that you kept things black and white. This gives your image a consistent, stark, and serious vibe. My only suggestion would be to use sentence case in the wording of the article, rather than all caps. Good job!
