One of my favorite things to experience day to day is smiles and laughter. I love to run across a picture of a beautiful smile, or one that you can tell they were in the middle of a gut-busting laughter session. This beautiful scene shows what appears to be siblings, having a great laugh about something. I’d imagine they are trying to entertain the baby, or even laughing at something the baby did. The young lady in the middle, with her radiant smile and relaxed stance, embodies the most joy!
“There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.” – Charles Dickens

It’s moments like these that remind us of the simplicity of joy found in everyday life. Whether it’s a playful joke, a tickle fight, or the innocent antics of the youngest among us, laughter has the power to transform our day, uplift our spirits, and bond us in a shared experience. Laughter truly is a universal language that everyone speaks fluently.

Hi Moneeka. Laughter and smiling are important and can take away the stress of a crazy day. It seems they were looking at something and thought it was very funny although the baby didn’t think so. I like that you centered and zoomed in on the young lady who had the biggest beautiful smile in the picture. Also, you gave a close-up, so you could get a better look at the clothing and cropped out most of the trees in the background. Good job on this assignment.
I love the image that you chose, there is so much emotion in the children’s expressions. The subject that you chose to focus on is radiating genuine happiness. Another interesting crop could have been a close up of just the baby. His expression is a bit different then the older children. So, the expressions between him and the others would have been a great contrast, possible changing the meaning of the original image. My notes for improvement would be to simplify the titles of the links. And to also add clickable links directly to the author and source of the original image.
Hi Moneeka! I love the title of your blog and the image you chose. The girl looks so happy as she is laughing. I like how you crop your photo. You put more focus on the laughing girl and we can now see more detail of her outfit as well. Though you can see her in the first photo, the busy background and the other child holding the baby. One suggestion I can give is to simplify the link to the creative commons license and to provide a link to the picture and the author. Great job!
