I’m Turi Kufi (also known as Astra in my mortal life).
Originally from Sulani (Child of the Island), I currently live in Brindleton Bay with my longtime partner, Queenie. We’ve been together for 5 young adult spans and have 10 children (2 together) and 4 grand children.
Okay, you may be wondering, how can I live 5 young adult spans? Thank you for asking. I am a spellcaster. As I approach adult age, I brew potion of youth servings and drink it before my next birthday. Fair warning: I can cast from lost distances, so Stans please do not come to my home. I’ve had an amazing life and even found myself alive after unexpectedly being hit by a meteor. I have to tell you, THAT experience still puzzles me. I was gone, like my child was mourning me, I totally remember that – then, next thing I know, I was back doing things as if nothing happened. It was as if someone turned a game off without saving it. Funny, huh? Life isn’t a simulation so OBVIOUSLY it isn’t that.

I’m currently employed as an Art Critic, but I’ve had several other jobs. Actor, Astronaut, Entertainer (Comedy), Freelance. I went into the painting branch after selling a few masterpieces to fans and museums. It’s been fun, but I think I need to head off to Granite Falls or Batuu. As a perfectionist, I know once I master my career, I will be taking up other endeavors. Ultimately my goal is to max out all my skills.
In my time away from Sulani and the Bay, I am fervently pushing through the MS – Information Technology program at FSU. I have been W A I T I N G impatiently to take this class and am excited for one main reason: skills. Learning new skills and information is a passion. I alluded to maxing skills and this class aids in that venture. Video gaming is a hobby, but it burns me when achievements are not unlocked as they should be. Strangeville took a LONG time, and I should have that reflected in my profile. As a Child of the Island, I love swimming and going to the beach. I also like rock climbing. If you have any tips on keeping your rock-climbing wall from being struck by lightning, please share.
It will be great spending time with everyone over the next few weeks. If you’ve never visited Sulani, Batuu, or Brindleton Bay, what are you waiting for? All the cool kids are doing it. Join Us!
Brindleton Bay sounds so much fun! I’m pleased to meet another MSIT student who has been waiting to take this class! This is one of my most anticipated. I love building websites, and various digital media forms, so I am very excited to learn a lot from this class. I have an online portfolio (that desperately needs work) and I recently discovered online journaling. One of my goals this year is to create a 2024 Best Moments magazine, make it really artsy and fun and showcase my design skills through something I created. I’m also curious, did you have a rock wall that got struck by lightening? If so, please share the story! I love rock climbing as well (albeit not very good at it haha) it’s a killer workout!
I am so out of date with Sims. There were issues at some point back on Sims 3, I think, with it working on Macs, and I got out of it. That Batuu expansion might be just about enough to get me back into it again… like I need an excuse for more Star Wars! Obviously, you seem to enjoy the game, but how would you say it plays compared Sims 3? It has to be tons better, right? I’m taking the Information Architecture certificate myself, but the MSIT has to be really interesting. I’d love to hear more about how you got into that.
Wow, your Sim’s life sounds fascinating and filled with adventure! I can’t say that I’ve ever visited Brindleton Bay but it is definitely on my bucket list! I also enjoy playing video games myself from time to time, do you play on a console or PC? I am a console player, (Xbox). Currently also pursuing an MSIT degree so it’s great to meet another one going through the same path! Good luck this semester.
