Hello everyone. This is Abdelrahman, and I go by Abdu. I’m originally from Egypt. I got my bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity from Indian River State College in 2018. I’m the IT specialist at Florida State University College of Medicine at Ft Pierce regional.

I love travelling and visiting new places. One of the best places I love to visit is Mexico. I visited Los Cabos in September last year, and I visited Cancun in December. If you are planning to visit Cancun anytime, you have to visit one of the famous Cenotes on your list. I personally loved Cenotes Cristalino.
Hey Abou! Lyla is such a cute dog! Those eyes are so beautiful. I am jealous of how much you have gotten to travel and to such cool places. I also work for the IT department at FSU doing communications. One of my co-workers is from Egypt and from what she says about it I have added it to the top of my travel list.
Thank you Alexa. I’m sure you will love visiting Egypt.
Wishing you good luck
Hi Abdu. Mexico is such a cool country with great food and experiences. So glad that you enjoyed your most recent trips to Los Cabos and Cancun. I too have been to Mexico a few times but have never visited a cenote while there. But, I have been to a prehistoric spring here in Florida (Williston, FL) called “Devil’s Den” that reminds me of a cenote. If you haven’t been you should check it out! Cyber security is an interesting field and definitely needed in today’s times. Your dog Lyla is so adorable would have loved to hear more about her and Egypt!
Thank you Marshaye. I will definitely try to go to that Devils Den. Also, you should check Egypt, but you got to do it through a travel agency as a package. That way they provide security and transportation and everything.
Good luck
Hi Abdu! Nice to meet you! Your journey from Egypt to becoming an IT specialist at FSU College of Medicine is impressive. I’m curious: what sparked your interest in cybersecurity? Also, your travels to Mexico sound amazing! I’ve always wanted to explore Cancun, and Cenotes Cristalino sounds fascinating. How did you discover it, and what made it stand out to you? By the way, Lyla is such a cute name for a dog! 🐾 Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures!
Hello Tashi,
One day I was watching a Bollywood movie, and in the song lyrics was saying (People’s steps take them to their destiny) No one knows what will happen in the future. One day I maybe in Egypt, and the next days I’m here at FSU College of Medicine 🙂
Mexico was amazing. Nice people, nice food, and very nice hospitality. You should try it (always go with RIU hotels all inclusive).
Lyla is my fifth pup. I do love animals so much.
Thanks for your comment.
Abou
We spoke about Egypt, but reading this post again it seems to me like climbing on a very high, steep mountain that ends to a paradise. IT and cybersecurity in my mind is a very difficult profession almost an impossible job to have. I wonder what kind of problems you face while you are working for the college of medicine? and if is stressful as you cannot predict your day I assume. Lyla is so cute and has a human color eyes! How old is she, Is she a puppy? Our dog is 8 month (crazy) old and she is constantly “in training”. I too have been to Cancun area but i had no idea about Cenotes Cristalino, this is the paradise I was talking about! I will definitely visit if I travel again in Quintana Roo!
What life brings, is just fascinating! Enjoy!
