Hi, Alex. Your video sends a very powerful message that I think we often overlook. It is easy to forget about those who are struggling when we are comfortable with what we are so blessed to have. Your images accurately portrayed the overall theme of the video and were timed well with the beat of the song. I really liked the font you used with the first image in the video. Great job!
Hey, Alex! Thanks for your post this week! I love how you use the montage at the start to set up the theme for your video. All of the images that have text in them really hit home the severity of this issue in our country, and I especially appreciate the sign that read “Washing your hands won’t stop the spread of greed”. The last image you added also really hits home the point you’re trying to make, as if anyone could miss it through that video, lol! Great job this week!
Hi, Alex! Your video is sharply edited and is clearly focused on the issue of affordable housing and gentrification. I like the juxtaposition you create between large, single-family dwellings, low-quality housing, protests to protect access to housing, and police violence; it makes your point very eloquently without much text. The pan and zoom effects you used were effective at emphasizing your focus without distracting from the overall image. Great work!
