I felt that the theme for this song was really about how people expected big changes far off in the future, but really, the future is now. I chose to start off with gas powered cars, and then transition into symbols representing gas, oil drilling, and pollution caused by these cars. As the song transitions into looking ahead to the future, I chose to display images of electric vehicles, renewable energy, and clean air and skylines. This was meant to show that we have the technology now to start making improvements when it comes to the harm done by fossil fuels.

Great job on your video John! The theme was very clear, showing the negative effects of car use and gasoline to pollute the air. I thought throughout the video it stayed focused on the theme and used pictures that were on topic. One thing I really liked was how you sped up the pictures throughout the video. It made it feel urgent and slightly stressful. Very appropriate to your theme. If there was one area of improvement it would be timing the photos with the beat. There were a few places you did that really well but a few that felt slightly off. Did you do that on purpose to create tension? Cause if so it worked!
I also thought you had a very clever title 🙂
