For this project I used the free version of Sony Vegas. I rendered/exported the project as an mp4 using the Internet/Youtube preset of 1920*1080-30p and did not use the stretch video to fill output frame size. While that option would have gotten rid of letter boxing it would have stretched and deformed some of the original images. Aesthetically I prefer letterboxing to ugly and pixelated images.

Kyle, your title “Have and Have Nots of 2025” got me thinking about how a lot of the things we have, we don’t actually want, and how the things we are burdened by (have) leave us empty or void (have nots). Your message was subtle and required me to watch your video several times to pick up on the images you selected to show we are burdened by the things we have (i.e. stock market crash, poverty, etc.) From beginning to end, your edits did not correspond directly with one rhythm pattern, and it was interesting to view how you interpreted the music. I especially enjoyed the way you edited to the beats around the 28 second marker. The only image that I had questions about, I could not find in your list of citations. Around 31 seconds, there are two people in the street holding fans. I’m curious how you viewed this image and what it meant to you.
Hello Kyle, after watching your video, it made me think in my point of view- do I have enough in my life. I think you choose great images that represent your message. I felt some of the images are off the beat in the beginning. Other than than, it looks great. Especially, the edits in 28 seconds was just perfect. I rewatched that part again and again because it was so great. Nice job!
