Hi Nichole,
You have made such a thought-provoking video which is the need of the hour. The message that how plastic is a killer and hazardous to the earth has been carried out from the beginning till the end. The images you used are so vibrant and fit apt to the message. Compared to the images of “plastic”, there were much fewer images of the alternatives of plastic – like the steel water bottle, wooden spoons, and forks. A few more images to insist on the “alternatives of the plastics” would have made the video much more beneficial to the viewers. I felt that incorporating quick cuts of the images to match the fast beat in the middle would have uplifted the message and the video much more. I also thought that you would have intentionally kept the image static during the fast beat section so that the picture registers to the viewers, which is a fair call too. Overall, this video is a great treat to the eyes (with all its vibrant colors) and food to the brain (with an intriguing message).
Hey Nicole,
First off, you picked a really current and important topic that is just as powerfully conveyed with the images that you selected for your video. The title “head full of plastic” gives a good briefing on what the images you selected are all about. The images were colorful, and interestingly, they were all related to food. I wonder if that was a deliberate choice or coincidental. Nevertheless, it made for a more powerful message. Some of the images could have been matched more closely to the beat of the sound; however, once again, I wonder if it was a deliberate choice for an alternative response from the audience. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed your video.
