The podcast is called “K-pop Town” and the DJ in this podcast is called the “driver” of “K-pop Town.” The K-pop Town drivers will drive you through all of the recent K-pop news, talk about your favorite K-pop idols, listen to your favorite K-pop songs, and much more! Today’s podcast begins with the good news: ‘PARK JI MIN USA,’ one of the largest BTS Jimin fan bases in the United States donated to The Turkey Syria Earthquakes Fund of CARE for lifesaving emergency aid under Jimin’s name.
I used the CD player image as the podcast poster and added the texts “K-pop” and “Town.” In order to make an eye-catching poster, I substituted the letter “o” in “K-pop” to CD player and the letter “o” in “Town” to the national flag of South Korea. Thanks to my brother-in-law, I recorded his voice for the podcast. I used the exciting background music that fits the voice and the overall message of the podcast. Plus, I added the applause sound effect at the end to emphasize the good deeds of BTS Jimin fan.

First off what a cool and funky intro beat, I thought that was really neat! The overall tone and mood of this podcast was fun and upbeat. The audio clips flowed greatly together as they all added to the overall meaning of the all inclusive K-pop radio. The sound effects played a great role in the overall upbeat light cheerfulness of the podcast. What I found most interesting about this podcast was it was dedicated to K-pop which is very specific. This is just like any other genre of music and latest information on K-Pop stars, but it was really cool to learn that Korea has their own version of Pop music. My suggestion for improvement is to maybe change the narration voice because it can go from entertaining to a bit overwhelming really quickly. I suggest using the narration voice for the introduction only and then using a more even keel tone for the rest of the podcast. Also I recommend speaking a little bit louder over the background music. Overall great job!
Hi Jenny, I think your font choice was good, I wondered how the rule of thirds would have applied to this…I honestly think the way you did it was best but your image and text is not evenly centered. So that’s the only thing I think you could have improved with your image.
As for the audio, I think your brother in law’s voice was a good choice. His narration was definitely pumped for this podcast which would appeal to k-pop fans. I’m thinking a young crowd would also be your audience. The choice of music was good but I think some fading would have been good so your brother in law’s voice would have been clearer as it was competing with the background music. I think the topic of your podcast definitely has an appeal. Good job overall.
