Gossip Girl The Podcast gives you your weekly dose of gossip on everything pop culture. This podcast will include from time to time special guests where we cover controversial topics like the reproductive rights of women, along with your daily dose of the latest pop culture gossip including celebrity gossip, tv shows, and new music. This podcast will also cover some of the fashion do’s and don’ts in the entertainment industry. This podcast is relatable, down to earth, and uses a conversational tone. I want you to feel like you’re at home gossiping with one of your closest friends.
This podcasts uses sound effects, theme music, and voiceovers. The opening sound is the beginning of a special news broadcast, I chose this element to bring some type of urgency but also to give the news reporting feel since I will be covering controversial topics, and pop culture gossip. I used my voice over element to transition the reader from the music to my own voice. At the end of the podcast I used the tape rewinding sound effect to emphasize me rewinding the events of that night to start from the beginning.

Hi, Justyce,
I really like your podcast poster! The colors, fonts, and image are perfect matches. I like your message when you said ” I want you to feel like you’re at home gossiping with one of your closest friends.” I felt it in 30 seconds! The news opening theme was a great choice, and I also like your tape rewinding sound effect. I think you added the audio elements at the right time. Your voice was clear too. I think young women are likely to be interested in this podcast. Great work!
Hi Justyce, I love your poster for this podcast. The font colors you chose complement one another well. I think the fonts are good but to increase readability the Blac China bit could be in sentence case. Also, the spacing on the left of your text and below your text is not even, so I think that is something you could improve on. You centered the text but maybe left justified might have lined up nicely with the edge of your graphic.
As for your audio, I understood why you chose the news broadcast theme but I felt like it sort of took away from the playfulness of your podcast. Also, the music just dropped and didn’t fade while you were talking. I like the rewind effect you did at the end. It was a nice effect to transition into the podcast. You did a good job with your narration and I think your podcast will appeal to a young crowd, maybe 18-30 year olds. I like that you will cover a diverse range of topics and not just celebrity gossip so I think that will definitely help broaden the appeal to your podcast.
Overall, I think you did a good job.
