The Curious Tourist is a podcast that provides the latest travel news, reviews, and suggestions. The podcast would focus on places that I have visited or would like to visit in the future. The first episode is all about cruising since the most recent travel that I have done was aboard Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas. I would also invite guests on the podcast who have travelled to places that I am interested in visiting and would discuss their experiences and suggestions. Overall, I want the podcast to be fun and light-hearted and very easy to listen to.

I chose to use multiple sound files in my podcast. The podcast includes voice, sound effects, and music. The voice was recoded by me with a microphone in Audacity. The sound effects include plane, boat, train, and ocean sounds. Finally, the podcast includes background music to start and end the podcast recording.

After deciding on the theme of my Podcast, I knew I wanted to include a catchy music tune and several travel/transportation sounds to start the podcast off before I started speaking. It took quite a while to find all of the sounds that worked together, but I think the end result is playful and fun.
