Librarianship is everything individuals are aware of and what they are not yet aware of. I have been lucky to find and discover something new, about EVERYTHING, EVERY DAY thanks to the whole idea of librarianship (Information, connections, revelations, everything!)

I am Harry Brake, from the City of Butler, Pennsylvania, have family connections to the Pittsburgh Steelers, now live in Delaware, and am studying the Master’s in Information Science with the ALA Certification. I work/manage the Woodbridge High School Library, previously worked at The American School Foundation in Mexico City and brought back my dogs from Mexico as you can them posing below:

I coach Cross Country, am the President of the Delaware Association of School Libraries, I love to blog at my blog site – I LOVE social media creation with students surrounding me with their ideas, love the outdoors, aquariums, and my work with The Nanticoke River Watershed Conservancy. I love finding ways to cross technology to promote environmentalism.
I love the fact that a wide range of social media and mediums are represented in this class and LOVE the potential of what others will bring to these mediums from their personal experiences.
Hi, Harry! It is so nice to meet you. I love your pictures, especially the one with your beautiful dogs (I am definitely an animal lover!). What breed are they? It looks familiar, but I cannot place it. Working in Mexico must have been an amazing opportunity. How long did you work there? It sounds like you are quite the traveler! I am a runner myself but have never run cross country, although it would be a fun experience. Your enthusiasm for what you do is very inspiring. It is always great to meet people who share the same ideas and passions. I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors.
Hola Savannah! My dogs are puppies I brought back from Mexico, the are a mix of an afghan and a golden retriever, the Mama (Kinah) being an afghan and the father a golden retriever, so a Golden Afghan is the breed : ) I love animals too, I brought cats back from Mexico too LOL. I loved Mexico and miss it much. I worked and lived there six years. I love traveling and just learning something outside of what I am familiar with. Thanks for the nice words, I love running and enjoy cross country the most as it is among nature trails and outdoor scenery that is different 🙂
Hello Harry!
Cross Country is great! I used to do participate in middle school, high school and college. What got you into Cross Country? I also used to do rowing and track.
About libraries, I went to a private high school, and they got rid of it for a “Tech Room”. Which is pretty much empty, not cool. I would prefer the library to come back and fill peoples’ minds with knowledge. Good luck with this class!!!
