Audio Resources:
Hi Matthew,
I am not in your assigned group this week, but due to a group member not posting I am giving you feedback on your post because I found your video interesting and it sort of hits close to home. I am currently living in Germany and can understand what is happening nearby. After watching the video, the big take-away I got from it was about the war and the military. The selected images you used were perfect to interpret the meaning. It felt like everything flowed well with each other. I think it was so smart you used the images of bullets to represent money when the audio was mentioning about currency. The pacing of the edits to the audio sort of matched with the beats. Some images might have stayed on the screen too long when the rhythm started to get a faster pace, but I understand the overall message you were trying to convey. The end credits might have started 1 -2 seconds too early because the guy in the video was still talking when the credits started rolling. Some improvements is maybe use less zooming in and out of each of the images. It is good that you used it throughout the video to keep it consistent, but maybe next time only use it for a few images at a time. I think you are missing a title slide in the beginning. Overall, great work with your video. I can tell you tried hard to find all of the images and match the beat of the audio the best you can. Amazing job.
Hey Matt,
I told Cynthia the same that I thought it was a great message once I passed the 2025 song nightmare. Personally, I thought your pictures were a little out of sync with the music. In my case, I was making the same mistake, and I realized the zooming was causing the timing off. However, it was my first time using iMovie, and I ended up asking for assistance to remove the zooming function on all the pictures, and I found the answer. If you double click on the image at the timeline bar, the editing function comes out, and you can remove the “Ken Burns” effect and switch to fit or crop fit. Check it out because this will help you on the final project. Good job, Sir.

Hello Matthew!
I think you have a great message in your video. The bullet shells during the “dollars, pesos, & yen” part stuck out to me the most because it felt like the world only sees its own worth in its show of force rather than in the integrity of its people. I agree with Alejandro that the pictures seems a little out of sync but I liked how they zoomed in! I will have to remember to use the zoom feature so that my own video appears less static. This was very good! Thank you for sharing!
