The podcast Parenting with love is a series designed to reach first time parents, providing them with some do’s and don’t as well as milestones throughout their children’s development. This podcast is designed for anyone but does target first time parents. This podcast will have guest speakers often that are parents that have gone through these stages and will have some professional guest speakers as well to help encourage parents as they approach the different phases of parenting and childhood.
In this podcast I have a baby and their parents laughing for sound effects, a soda can being opened in the background, some music, and voice (spoken word). The purpose of these chosen elements is to open up the podcast with laughter to give a big hint what the episode will be about. Raising children is difficult and fun and sometimes you just need to pop open a soda and relax.

I love the sound of a baby laughing! Your music and the baby laughing set a relaxing mood for listening to your podcast. The opening of the soda can also invited the listener to sit back and listen. I believe your podcast would be of interest to first time parents who want to know that they are on the right path to being a “good parent”. Your podcast would relieve some of their anxiety about first time parenting and give them some basic knowledge to guide them on their journey. I like that you will be focusing on milestones and how they relate to children’s development. Your audio sounded good with no distractions. My only suggestion would be to record your voice without any hesitations. I felt like there were a couple of hesitations that could be smoothed out. Overall, I think you did a great job with this assignment!!!
Hi, Keith! This is a great podcast concept that could appeal to so many people. The narration gives a good introduction to the subject matter of the episode. The sound of the baby’s laughter adds a sweet touch, as does the music selection. I think if the volume of the music was a little lower, your voice would come through better. The photo is a good representation of the podcast. I would suggest mixing the fonts used in the title and subtitle rather than using the same font, but it looks nice to have the title larger and more bold than the subtitle. Thanks for sharing this, I enjoyed seeing and hearing it.
