Living your Destiny with Deidra Lynn Jones is a podcast dedicated to helping others find their purpose, passion, and prosperity. Each week the podcast provides listeners with educational and inspirational tips for living a better life. I have learned in my 48 years of living that sometimes the best advice for living your best life is not always obvious. Life’s up and downs can knock you down or knock you out. In this podcast we interview everyday people to gain knowledge, insight, and wisdom on navigating the terrain of life to ensure you are living a life of VICTORY!

I created the Living your Destiny podcast by using a variety of audio sounds to create the feeling of busy city life. The audio clips include a person yelling, loud horns and city noises that included motorcycles airplanes and other street sounds. The audio then changes to relaxing ocean ways to focus attention to the topic of the podcast which is finding your happy place.

Hello Deidra,
Great job on your podcast! It showcases and brings together the overall tone and message of your podcast. The overall style and effects focus on the ups and downs of life through the sound effects of the loud horns and yelling. Then its transition to how to live life positively through the ocean sounds and waves sounds. Your voice delivered a happy and upbeat tone! I love the idea of the podcast series; it would have an audience, especially in discovering and living a happier life. Bringing other people on the podcast for the interview would help and attract users to become inclusive to the type of interviewee brought on (i.e., therapist, meditation instructor, and more). The sounds of the busy life make me think I would listen to this going to work or on the way back from work, especially if I had a stressful day. Suggestions I would have for improvement would be minimizing background noises and buzz and slowly fading in and out the sound effects. Overall your project is fantastic, and I would love to hear more!
I also forget to mention that your podcast image fits perfectly with your podcast! It follows the rule of thirds, and the placement of the text featured with the colors selected and the effects behind the image fit makes it a great cover art.
Deidra, great job on your podcast. A few things I noticed right away which I took notes of, I think I’m hearing a lot of background noise and I can not telling if it is ocean water. If it is ocean water I think that maybe it can be turned down a little and if it is background noise there is a noise cancellation button that can be used to edit that. Other than that I think that the image and the podcast pairs well together and that I theme of your podcast matches your tone. I would also fade out the busy sound as you begin to talk. Your podcast makes me think of maybe walking to work or maybe on the subway. Great job.
