Beyond Parenting is a biweekly podcast dedicated to parents. This podcast became another tool on the tool bag for parents facing difficult times understanding and relating to teenagers throughout the past two years. Each episode discusses the parent and teenager points of view and examines the commonality not seen firsthand.

Hi Alejandro! Without a parenting handbook, most of us go through this life looking for resources just like this podcast to help us navigate our way through it. It is a great idea! The album art was touching as I love pictures with fathers holding their little ones hands. It is important to have that affectionate role models. Based on the podcast title and art, you could widen the scope to just “parenting”. The podcast description narrowed the focus to parenting teenagers. If you want to only focus on the teenagers, maybe a photo with a parent and teenager would capture the intended audience more. As for the audio, you have a fun intro greeting your audience. The music, knife sharping, and your voice in one section competes with each other. The music volume reduced during that part or a pause of the voice might have minimized all the sounds competing for attention. Since I am new to audacity, I know it can be done but I am not sure how to do it myself. Great job.
Hi Alejandro!
I liked your parenthood podcast! The feeling of the podcast right from the start was very friendly, I felt like I could wake up in the morning, put this right on and feel right at home. The music helped to contribute to this feeling, as well as the joyful tone of your voice. This is a very helpful topic for parents as well. As someone interested in becoming a parent, even listening to this without kids would help younger adults be ready for parenthood, as well as those who work with teens every day. As Tiffany mentioned, the album art does make it seem like this will be a podcast about younger children, not just teens, so that might be a possible change to make it even more accessible. Technically, the podcast sounded very clear. The iron sharpening iron sound effect might have had an even greater effect if it was isolated from your talking, perhaps pausing for a bit to allow for the sound effect on its own and lowering the volume a little. I might also try to link to the artist and copyright laws in your credits with clickable links. But beyond that, it sounded great and your post looks good.
