Hey there! I really like your image of arranged marriages. People should be able to choose who they marry, not have it forced on them by their parents — and your image clearly illustrates this point. However, I feel that the image resolution is low and the typography, especially the word “marriage,” could have been spaced better because it appears to rest on the woman’s shoulder. Basically, the alignment of the words could be improved. Nevertheless, I believe your image makes an impactful point that you’re trying to convey. Great job!
What’s working: The entire concept of this piece is really stunning and evocative. I believe this for most things, from the choice of a B&W photo with red and black overlay, to the paper bags being over the nuptials heads. The image smacks the viewer right in the face. All of this is a bang up job, resolution is a bit low and I believe your wonderful work would be improved with a cleaner resolution.
What could use work: I think that I’m partial to newlyweds being in the left or right third of the image instead of being centered in-between the text blocks. Also the
