Fall is my most favorite time of the year. Who doesn’t enjoy observing the leaves from the tress and plants changing into multi-colored works of art before finally falling away? It is the coziest season of all. The sun is still bright and warm around midday but mornings and evenings are chilly with less frequent rains. Since Florida doesn’t have much Fall foliage displays I travel north during this time to enjoy the colors mainly because I love to take photographs of nature.
The beautiful, and vibrant colors are visual treat and can be gazed at all through the day.
It is the coziest season of all. The sun is still bright and warm around midday but mornings and evenings are chilly with less frequent rains. It is the “cooling off” month right between the blazing summer and chilling winter. Autumn is season of holidays to spend time with family before rolling into winter and Christmas. It is the season to be thankful and to be surrounded by the people you love.
I chose the write my post about Autumn because the weather currently is very cold for Floridians and I was wondering how much I miss the other seasons especially ‘Fall’. I found the autumn leaves picture and the audio appropriate to the mood and content of my post and hence used it.
Annie,
From the outset I liked your post because I am a colder weather girl and fall and winter are 100% my favorite seasons. I love the Christmas holiday the most so winter takes a little notch above. I thought your choice of audio was interesting because the music to me doesn’t necessarily feel sad, but rather contemplative. I’m not sure what it is but it has this mix of being optimistic and calming at the same time. Was there any other music that you thought tapped into a feeling that might not be too overt? Something that might tie into a different emotion. Really liked learning a bit more about you!
Elizabeth, the music selected is an excellent depiction of fall and definitely sets the tone you were trying to convey. The “Falling for Fall” title is catchy and creative. Your post is nicely formatted and fully functional. I’m not sure if I overlooked it, but I didn’t see link text back to relevant pages for the media you included and the authors. Correction, I mixed up my 2 assigned post to review.
