Cinematic Deep Dive is a film review podcast that explores the cultural impact, storytelling choices, and cinematic techniques behind today’s biggest releases. Each episode blends critical analysis with pop culture commentary, breaking down how major films reflect audience expectations, franchise evolution, and industry trends. The intro opens with classic film countdown (5-4-3-2-1) beeps overlayed with a movie projector startup sound to create a cinematic atmosphere. An energetic MCU-style music fanfare plays underneath the host’s voice to build excitement and introduce the episode’s content. My narration was recorded using headphones and Audacity.

Moss & Mourning is a podcast about southern paranormal experiences. Episodes for this podcast covers encounters by paranormal patrons who have visited some of the most haunted cities in the southern part of the United States. Episode 13, is about my mother-in-law’s experience when she was thirteen years old and lived with her parents in an older New Orleans neighborhood. The episode begins with the sound of a record needle hitting vinyl, paralleling a low-fi, bass-heavy jazz turn which begins to play, but it sounds slightly slowed down, giving it an unsettling, “melted” quality. Then a faint sound of a summer thunderstorm in the distance can be heard as well. Toward the end of the voiceover, the music stops abruptly and the sound of soft rustling, like a silk dress sliding across a wooden floor can be heard, but grows slowly louder, more aggressively. My narration was recorded using my computer microphone, noise cancelling headphones, and compiled as well as edited using Audacity.

Stamped in Time is a podcast about my travels abroad. Each episode features a different country I have visited and lessons I have learned along the way. Episode 6 is about my time in Nepal, seeing Mount Everest.
I used the sound of an airplane taking off with light-hearted music right from the start as I welcomed the audience to the podcast. I then backed off both of those sounds to transition into a Tibetan singing bell and a song inspired by Nepali musical traditions. I recorded my narration using my computer microphone and compiled all the audio and my podcast image in WeVideo. I then connect it to my YouTube channel to upload it to WordPress.

For this assignment I used Canva to crop my selected image and embed the text. For the title text I used Sprite Graffiti which is a decorative / display font. For the body text I used Soloway which is a slab serif font, I also used the highlight effect to add a pick background to the body text. I edited the text to wrap around the image’s subject and aligned I the text to the left.
