Title Page, Alligator Disclaimers, and Credits edited with Canva
Synopsis: Walter the Alligator was on a quest for knowledge. He wanted to go where he could only dream of, his local library! From the comfort of his home in Lake Okeechobee, he must traverse the human land and reach the library.
Content & Creation: Media, including photos and videos, were primarily shot by me. Some photos of the alligators were found online on Pexels and Wikimedia Commons to fill in pieces of the story. I also included a photo from PBC’s Fire Rescue’s Instagram. I used it following the Fair Use copyright law, per category 6 (recombine elements to make a new work). I used iMovie to edit the video and Canva to create the title page, disclaimer slides, and credit pages. I narrated it, and I included a song in the background from Audionautix. I also used sound effects from Sound Jay for the lake/water sounds, footsteps, pages turning, and the splash when Walter is released back into the lake.
