Hello Brianna,
I love the image featured; it fits Article 27, such as this article’s literacy and artistic production aspect. The typefaces used in this image support and fit perfectly with this article. The elements worked well together, especially the chosen fonts, and adding a rectangle block behind it more empathizes the wording. The only suggestion I would recommend is moving the typeface more in the empty spaces to the top left, as it currently takes away from the woman’s dress in the photo. Overall the fonts blend well together, especially the article in that font reminds me of artistic or literacy headings.
Brianna,
I recognized this picture, but I do so from a Buffy the Vampire episode. Ironically, it is supposed to be about college freshman being pretentious, yet I have no frame of reference. I know very little about the artwork.
I like the way that you created a text box to highlight the article. It is very well done. The words are easy to read and the simple black ties back to the art. I think, however, that there could be a larger border, whether by reducing the font size or the spacing between paragraphs.
Also, I always question script fonts. Mostly, they just take more effort to read and in our current environment, I think using script as a title loses the audience before they can appreciate your good work.
