Hi Emily! You did a fantastic job here. My main takeaway from your video is that there are consequences to AI that many people ignore. You set this up well, first with the slightly creepy music, then with the images of environmental destruction. This led me to believe that you were trying to show the environmental cost of AI that is often overlooked. I liked how you repeated some of the same environmental images. This really hammered in the potential destruction. I also loved when you put the words on the screen the emphasize those “lyrics.” I think some of the later cuts could have been a little more on beat, but that is something I struggled with a lot as well when creating my video.
Hi Akerke! Please ignore my first comment. That is intended for another student and I could not figure out how to delete it. Thanks for sharing this video with us! My main takeaway was that women being provided the same amount of toilets as men is actually inequality because women take longer than men in the bathroom. We’ve all seen the evidence of this when there’s a huge line for the women’s restroom and none for the men’s. I really liked when you put the words on the screen while you were speaking. This showed that this was really the core of your message. It looks like you mostly timed the image cuts to your words instead of the beat. I think this works in this case since your message is much more tied to the words than the background music.
Hello Akerke! Great job creating and editing your video. I think the video has a clear theme of inequality in cases like bathrooms. The images you used helped the audience follow along with the dialogue of the audio that you chose. I really enjoyed some of the text that you used however the bouncing transition for the “Why we just accept it??” was a bit hard to read. The timing of your video was great and everything felt smooth and at a really good pace for the audience to fully engage with the materials. Overall, great job! What an important message!!
Hi Akerke! Great work! I love the overall message of your video and it was very clear. I thought that the use of putting text on the screen added to the overall emphasis of your message. I agree with some of the other comments, I think that the bouncing text at the end was a bit challenging to read and it could have been more impactful if it matched the same font as the first set of text. I thought the pictures that you selected were great and the image cuts were on point.
