Hey Craig! Great use of type! It feels fun and vintage. You’ve done a really nice job of tying together the image and your text. All caps “EVERYONE” is subtle but impactful. Curving the text for Article XIV keeps the eye moving. I love the symbolism of the parachute drop exercise, a trust fall, a safety net connecting to asylum.
Hi Craig,
You’ve done an excellent job in creating a very dynamic composition with your text and photo. Aligning the Article number to the trampoline was unique, and helps emphasize the natural flow of the photo! Additionally, overlapping the text from the Article on the left side of the photo allows the photo to stand in juxtaposition with the text! Your font choices are very unique, they remind me of an old-timey newspaper headline! They work well together. I wonder what a thinner font for the Article Number may have looked like, since both of the fonts remind me of headlines. Well done!
Wow……. I would have never thought to use that specific picture for Asylum. I love that it’s in black and white and that the picture shows someone being rescued from a jump. It was an interesting take. I love also how bold your text was.
