Your font chosen for “Article 8” is for stoic and stands out, which is appropriate. The other font is contrasting, both in size and style and direction which is appealing to the eye and appropriate to the style. It almost looks like a court or legal document text, which is effective for the point you are trying to make. The contrast of the white color on the grey background is great; it stands out and quite a simple effect. The spacing of the type relative to the corners, sides, top, bottom, and other object in the photo seems to be really purposeful as well. Well done!
Hi Lauren. I love the intentionality and simplicity of your creation. The article number and the text fonts go well together. They compliment each other but don’t take away from the seriousness of the image and words. The way you turned ‘Article’ to read vertically but kept the ‘8’ horizontal highlights that ‘8’ is the important takeaway and is very creative. With the image you chose, the background created a great contrast with the white font color and gave you plenty of blank space to add your text. The image complements the article chosen and is bold. The way you incorporated the text doesn’t take away from the boldness of the image. Great choices!
