Hey Jasmyn, great job! I thought that your choice for the photo of people hugging lovingly and acceptingly was great and accurately represented the article. With your choice of the article number color, I liked the congruency that you kept between the lighter green of the number with the trees in the background and the aqua color on the back of the man’s shirt. I thought that the font choice for the body of the declaration matched well with the font used for the number, but it was a bit hard to read. I think that if you had placed a darker background behind the text and article number, it would’ve been clearer and brought the message more forward. Overall, beautiful job, well done!
Hi, Jasmyn! The article number in this image pops nicely—I like that it mirrors the color from the text on the shirt, and I think it’s positioned in an eye-catching way. However, the text of the article is difficult for me to read, especially where the white text crosses over the lighter colored sky in the background of the photo. Also, while both fonts capture the seriousness of the Declaration of Human Rights and resonate with the other text in the photo, there isn’t much contrast between the typefaces, to my eye—both of them seem to be medium-weight sans-serif fonts.
