Hello everyone! My name is Jasmyn and I am from and currently live in Atlanta, Georgia. I just completed my Information Architecture certificate from the iSchool and will be completing the MSIT program this May. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting. This is the one pattern I’ve mastered and use for EVERYTHING. One day, I’ll expand my skills further. Currently, I am a cybersecurity consultant specializing in data protection and privacy. I’m interested in learning more about digital media in this class because I hope to one day work in UI/UX design.
Hi Jasmyn, I am currently living in Georgia as well. Although I am right above Jacksonville so it may as well be another state. I have never heard of an Information Architecture Certificate, what does that entail? High five on being able to crochet, my mother and grandmother both tried to teach me to sew and crochet, I failed at both. Is the pattern you shared meant to be a potholder? Have you thought of teaching a class at the library? I know our patrons would love to see such a class offered here. It would be really fun to get into UI/UX design. I look forward to seeing your final project!
Hello, Jasmyn. First of all, congratulation on completing the information architecture certificate! I applied for the exact same certificate this semester and waiting for approval. Also, early congrats on graduating as well. I used to do crocheting too when I was a little girl. It’s been a long time since I quit crocheting, so I forgot how to do it. I would like to do it again when I get a chance. I’m sure you’ll expand your crocheting skills further! It seems like we have a few things in common. I’m interested in digital media and interested in working UI/UX design field.
