Hello everyone! My name is Megan Kosove, and I’m in the MSI program here at FSU. I’m super excited to be here and working with everyone this semester! I currently work and live in Clearwater, FL in a public library, but I grew up in Miami, FL near Kendall. I have two cats: one named Diana and one named Artemis. Diana is a tuxedo cat while Artemis is a black cat with a little white spot on her chest. My life revolves around them, and they absolutely know it.

Honestly, after looking through the syllabus I think that all of the topics that we’ll cover will be very interesting to me. I love doing creative work, so this class is perfect for me. I have quite a few hobbies which include creative writing, reading, and playing music. While I use many other sources for retrieving sheet music, I mostly use MuseScore which has both a sheet music database and software for composing/arranging your own sheet music which I have recently learned how to do. I also love watching anime and spend a lot of time on Crunchyroll.
At the end of this class, I anticipate that I will have learned a lot. I am excited to gain the skills to create my own digital content, and I believe that, with what I will be learning from this class, I will end up with yet another hobby. I’m looking forward to working with everyone! Here’s to a great semester.
Thanks for introducing yourself Megan and it’s very nice to meet you! : )
It’s certainly fascinating to see people are from all around the United States and Florida participating within this course.
I absolutely love your cats and appreciate you for providing us a “Cat Tax”, I’m an “uncle” to one of my best friends cats that I live with and his name is Bongo.
Really glad to see someone else involved with music within this course. It was originally one of my majors of choice and I wanted to fixate on Music Theory but itโs hard to financially support yourself in that field of arts.
I hope you enjoy your semester and thanks again for sharing a bit about yourself!
Hi Megan, I hate to start my post like this but I clicked Crunchyroll (because I had no idea what it was) and my comment was deleted ๐
Sooooo, as I was saying before, it’s really nice to meet you. I’ve never been to Clearwater but I love Kendall. FIU was very close to Kendall and I remember always loving the vibe there. Did you move to Clearwater for your current job?
You cats are very cute but sadly I am very allergic to cats. It’s funny though because I grew up with a cat and a dog. Whenever I go by my sister I have to wear a mask or else I get a super itchy throat and start sneezing like mad…she has 5 cats!
I agree with you about this class, everything looks so interesting and I am sure we will learn a lot. Like I said in the beginning, I never heard of Crunchyroll before. The kids are super into manga these days. I have to place an order for some so if you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear!
Take care,
Jess
