Hey everyone! I am Annie Thomas living in Tampa, Florida, and originally from India where I pursued my under graduation in Information Technology. Earning a master’s degree has always been a dream for me and I am so glad and excited to wear the graduation cap, and gown end of this semester.

I am currently working for a Marketing Research Company as a Software Developer with more than 10 years of Industry experience. And I am sure The MSIT degree from Florida State University would not only allow me to chase my dreams but also help in the growth of my career.
Moving to Florida was one of the best decisions of my life, not just because of the sunny and warm weather throughout the year, but the people here are also warm and welcoming.
My area of interest includes dancing, cooking, photography, and spending time with my loving family, who are my pillars of strength always. Another important thing I love doing is worship and spending time in Religious activities. I am lucky to have a wonderful bunch of friends with whom I love visiting sunsets and beach walks. Capturing sunrise and sunset in time-lapse mode is one of my favorite things to do.
Love for photography is what made me choose this course. And I hope by the end of this course I would pro my editing skills!
Hi Annie! Congratulations on finishing up your masters this semester! That has to be super exciting. I am taking the slow and steady route, with one class a semester. I hope to finish in 2024. I love that you are into landscape photography. Do you have an Instagram account where you share your work? My nephew has recently taken up wildlife photography in the Ocala area. We set him up a page so he can share his work with others. Also, we had some of his photos printed on linen cardstock greeting cards. They were a big hit as Christmas presents to the family. We are looking into printing up some more to sell at local art shows. I can’t wait to see what you turn out in the class. I will continue to follow.
Hi Annie, nice to meet you! I too, am finishing my Master’s degree this semester so I can relate to your excitement. I have always found it intriguing when people from different programs share similar classes. It showcases just how inter-connected jobs in various fields are. I actually moved to Florida 2 years ago for family as well but I am originally from New York. The scenery is nice, but I can’t get used to the weather. I really miss snow, so perhaps I will move back North one day. I look forward to seeing some of your work as we progress in the course, as photography and image manipulation is something I have to get better at with my current line of work.
