My Last Call

“My Last Call” by Kenneth Jones, is licensed under Canva Pro Content License

Synopsis: The last payphone in the city reflects curiously on its decline from essential urban lifeline to forgotten corner fixture, wondering why people now carry glowing screens instead of waiting by their side for important calls. Through memories of anxious conversations and real plans made decades ago, the phone questions whether human connection has truly changed or if it’s just hiding somewhere. Told from the pay phone’s first-person perspective. He is curious, puzzled, and quietly bewildered and is shown through contemplative voice over narration.

Media Assets/ Software: I used mostly Canva pro media assets for the making of this video as well as used Canva video editor to construct the final product. None of the content used was originally derived from myself and the only slight changes made to any of the content was with the final bit of audio to which reverb and distortion was added. I wanted to use moving images this time around and am happy with the results. Video was exported at 1080p and then uploaded to YouTube.
