Hi Destiny! Your photo is an excellent match for the article you’ve chosen. It immediately brings to mind immigrants leaving one country for another. I really like how the ramp leads the eye from the boat down towards the text. I see that you aligned the text at the bottom with the word “Article” at the top, which is also aligned with the person standing in the far left foreground. The san serif font of the test is legible and reflects the sans serif font on the ramp itself, which is kind of cool. The one suggestion I would give is that the “Article 13” could be much larger. I feel like the outline feature is competing visually a bit with the poles. If you removed the outline feature and made it larger, I think it would be a stronger image. The text of the article itself seems to be weighted on the left of the image, which makes sense if you’re emphasizing the people on land vs. the boat. The line from the lower right hand corner forms a triangle with the ramp and leads the eye up towards the “Article 13” which is nice! Overall this is an image that does a fantastic job of communicating the information. Great job!
