Hi Amal! I like your choice of photo which connects to the theme of childhood, without being literal like a photo of a child and mom. Your choice of background color for the text flows well with the photo, which has a pink shadow in the back as well as the bunny has a pink nose. The light pinkish color fits the theme of childhood being soft and a color someone may use for a nursery. For the article number font I may have used something a little more striking to contrast the soft color and photo, but just so that it doesn’t take from the softness. The font for the article description fits the overall look of the image.
Amal, I really like how you played with the rule of thirds with this imagery and your text, and the dusky pink plays really well with the photograph’s washed look. Your text alignment, the article title with the bunny’s eyes, and the article text with its nose create a clean look. Your font choices reinforce this with their simple, neat appearance, and I’m glad you didn’t go with the childlike fonts that might have been a first choice for this article. One way to make this pop just a bit more would be to use either a decorative or script font for the title, to grab the reader’s attention, but I appreciate the simplicity you chose.
