Troy, you used color really well here! I love that you pulled the yellow and green from their vests fatigues. I also like that you didn’t overwhelm the photo with your text. The police are subject as they should be, but you also didn’t cover the flag. It is there in the negative space and the eye is drawn to that as well. I really liked this.
Hey Troy, your choice of color is awesome. The yellow used for the number 9 really makes the other yellow elements in the photo stand out, and the green behind the article text helps highlight the uniforms. The photo and text placement work well together and look very balanced. The words are at the very top, there’s some neutral space in the middle, and the people anchor the bottom of the image. Nice job!
