The background music doesn’t overpower your speech and the audio is clear and easily understood. While I like the background music, the bounciness of the beat feels at odds with the soothing, mellow tones of your voice and the moody/gloomy subject matter of the Poe poem. I think you have a really fun opportunity here to play with a spookier background audio (or even special effects noises) to play up the macabre themes in Poe’s work. I think the image you chose for your thumbnail helps to underscore to listeners that this is a literary podcast, though I don’t see any text on the thumbnail. Great work!
