I was inspired to make this video after taking a walking tour in New York City during a trip last year, where the tour guide explained the different types of people that had settled in the different boroughs. Immigration is a controversial issue in the US as well, so I wanted to explore what becoming an American might look like to someone on the outside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the assets, I used a variety of media to convey history such as orginial photos from The Library of Congress of immigrants arriving to Ellis Island.
