A Hundred Acres of Memories is a podcast in which we read through a chapter A.A. Milne’s 1926 classic novel Winnie-the-Pooh<\/em> a week and spend time discussing how the themes relate to our lives. Children’s stories have had an undeniable effect on the world we live in today, and by speaking on its impact in our lives, we begin to see a fuller picture of the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the use of GarageBand and FreeSound, I positioned sound clips in this podcast to add a calm and sentimental feeling to the post. The sounds of the paper flipping and the cassette player flicking on to play the theme music are to simulate the feeling of reading a favorite book on a rainy day. The music I chose has a dreamy fantasy feeling, in order to fully capture the vibe of the Hundred Acre Woods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
